Banner/Pennant - Creative Knockouts #96

Hello and Happy July! It is time for another challenge at Creative Knockouts and the theme is banners & pennants. The sponsor for this week's challenge is All Dressed Up. The prize this week is two digi stamps from All Dressed Up. I was given Rock My World to work with, thank you!

I don't have any special dies for banners or pennants so I just cut mine out on the Cricut using the George & Basic Shapes cartridge. I  colored the image with Copic markers. I also used the Atyou Spica pens from Copic on the guitar but I can never get a good picture of them sparkling!

Humorous - Creative Knockouts #94

Hello and happy Thursday. I hope everyone is enjoying June. I can't believe it is almost over. It has been a wet month, that is for sure. I hope it dries out soon!

This week at Creative Knockouts the theme is humorous cards and the sponsor is Doodle Pantry. I was given Coffee & Biscotti to use for this weeks challenge, thank you!

I love coffee and thought his cute image and sentiment were perfect for this weeks challenge. After I made the card I realized the inside could say something cute like "I hope your day perks up." This would make a perfect card to cheer someone up.

The image was colored with Copic markers.

Paper Piecing- Crafting When We Can #96

Hello and happy Sunday. It is a new challenge at Crafting When We Can and the theme this week is paper piecing and the sponsor is Oddball Art. I was given Lucy to work with, thank you!

I paper pieced her clothes and head scarf with a solid piece of coordinating cardstock from the same line as the patterned paper. I have soooooo much of this paper in all the patterns and different colors of solid but I never know how to coordinate the patterns. So it tends to sit in my stash. I colored the rest of the image with Copic markers.

Bunnies

Hello and happy Wednesday! I hope the weather is good where ever you are. I actually had some time to scrap and have a fun layout to share. I was inspired by a layout that I saw on Pinterest. Here is a link to the original page. My layout doesn't look anything like it but I did use the idea of the grass and bunny silhouettes. The bunnies and the grass are cut with the Easter 2010 cartridge and the "arrows" I made using the George and Basic Shapes cartridge. Not your typical spring colors but I love how it turned out!

Bling It Up - Crafting When We Can #95

Hello and happy Sunday. It is time for another challenge at Crafting When We Can and the theme is bling. The prize this week is a $10 gift voucher to the crafty store of your choice!

My inspiration for my card came from fellow blogger Kelly at Sandcastle Stamper. She had such a simple layout for her DP that I knew would work with this stamp and I had an idea to switch out one section of DP for my sentiment. I created the sentiment of the computer and printed it on cardstock.
