Hello and happy Sunday! It is time for another challenge at Crafting When We Can. The theme this week is Oodles of Doodles. We want to see doodling on your creation. The sponsor this weeks challenge is A Random Fan. They were kind enough to provide me with Autry's Art Lesson, thank you!
I chose to doodle on her canvas. I created the background with alcohol inks and I colored her with Copics.
Hello and happy Wednesday! I know it is still August but I saw a sketch on the Stuck?! Sketches blog and then I was looking around my craft space and saw these old pictures sitting in a pile and I thought this would be a good sketch for these really old Halloween photos!
I know it has been a while since I posted a scrapbook layout! I sort of used a bunch of different papers from a few different manufacturers and a few items from a card candy swap I did almost 5 years ago.
Hello and happy Sunday. It is time for another challenge at Crafting When We Can and the challenge is to use bright colors. So I hope my card is bright enough for you! The sponsor for this weeks challenge is Lacy Sunshine Stamps and they were kind enough to provide me with this cute image, thank you!
I used Lizabeth Butterfly Kisses and colored her with Copics. I used a Sizziz flower with flourish/leaves die, Spellbinders die, and added a metal butterfly. The blue flower paper is very old Making Memories paper that I had in my stash.
Good morning and happy Thursday! Today's challenge at Creative Knockouts is Birthdays. The sponsor for today's challenge is Sassy Studio Designs and they were kind enough to provide me with Birthday Cake Sassy, thank you!
Hello and happy Sunday! It is time for another challenge at Crafting When We Can. Today's challenge is to create your own background. You can stamp, ink, doodle, create a scene - whatever you do, just create your background.
The sponsor or this challenge is The Stamping Chef and I was given the image Mademonsieur to create my masculine inspired card, thank you!
I used a Hero Arts stamp called Journey to stamp my background on to plain cardstock. I colored the image with Copics. The Eiffel tower is a brad from my stash. I made my sentiment on the computer but made it a little too large to put on the front and I was too lazy to reprint it so it found it's way on the inside.
There is also a Design Team call going on at Crafting When We Can until August 10th. So head on over to create your own background and to check out the DT call if you are interested on being on a fun team and like to create!
Hello and happy Thursday! We have another challenge over at Creative Knockouts this week and the theme is friendship. The sponsor is Crafty Sentiments Designs and they were kind enough to provide me with the image for today's card, thank you!
I colored the image with my Copics and I added a little metal flower. I got the idea to have just a little burlap peeking out from under the image from Kelly.
Hello and Happy Sunday! I hope every one has had a fabulous Fourth of July holiday. I had a nice weekend. My oldest daughter came home for the weekend and we had a fun BBQ.
The challenge over at Crafting When We Can is Friendship and the sponsor is Penny Blossom. I used an image from La La Land Crafts called Genie Marcie. I colored her with Copics and made the sentiment on my computer.
Hello and Happy Thursday! It's challenge time over at Creative Knockouts. This weeks challenge is Child's Play and the sponsor is Inky Impressions, who was kind enough to provide Baseball Nickolas for me use for todays card. Thank you! I colored him with Copic markers. The sentiment I created on my computer. The glitter star was from my stash that I received as part of a swap. The star eyelets are also from my stash and the star DP is from my scrap stash. Love using up those scraps!
Hello and happy Tuesday! My father-in-law's birthday is coming up so I needed to make the elusive masculine birthday card, LOL. He will be 86 years young at the end of June. I stamped a simple Happy Birthday sentiment on the inside and colored the image with my Copics.
It is hard to see the detail but I did use the wood grain embossing folder from the Paper Studio with my Cuttlebug. I am getting a lot of use out of that folder!
