Pillow Cases
I started sewing again! It with not being able to find a suitable Halloween costume for my daughter and then a children's gift swap. Someone had made my daughter a pillowcase once. I thought that would be a perfect gift for someone! Plus, I needed to get checked out on my sewing skills after not having sewed for a few years to prepare for that costume. I ended up making three pillowcases. The two pictured I made for my kids.

Just Beachy
Here is another layout I made for one of my favorite swaps on SCS. I think the bright colors help make the pictures pop with all that white sand. It was a simple lo but I think it came out nice.

Something Old is New Again
I have several scrap book layouts that just never made it into albums. They've been sitting in those plastic acid-free folios waiting and waiting and waiting. Well, they were originally 8.5x11 layouts and no one really does those anymore! All my new albums are 12x12 so I used some creativity and made them into 12x12 layouts. I kept the original layout and added some 12x12 and a few other embellies etc, rounded some corners and voila, now they are finally in albums! I don't think you can tell they were originally 8.5x11, either. Can you?

Happy July 4th!
Happy Fourth of July!!!
Here is an easy layout I made. The Mickey rosette was made by a friend and the Mickey icon was received in a card/page candy swap. I am a little behind on my Disney pages but I am getting there slooowly.

Floral Flourish
Sorry I've been MIA. I had a family emergency but I'm baaaaaaack!! Here is a little something I made for a swap on SCS. This is actually a wide border for a 12x12 scrap book page. This border measure 4"x12". I love making these wider borders. There is so much you can do with the wider size. Enjoy!

March Competing Princesses
Hello, this post a a few days late! The awesome Colleen out together this kit for out Paper Princess Blog Sisters competition. She even included a cute sketch. I didn't have room for the sentiment so I put it inside. Silly me, I should have turned the card the other direction but honestly, I almost didn't see the sentiment! There were these two white ovals and I didn't see anything stamped on them. I almost glued them under the flowers. In fact one was already glued and when I went to put adhesive on the other to attach it to the card, that is when I saw the sentiment. SO I quickly peeled them off but it was too late to re-orient my card. Everything else had been attached.
Lesson learned: Flip everything over first before making the card!

Got Snow?
I made this layout for mnewby's swap over at SCS. I CASED this layout from the cover of Creating Keepsakes magazine. I really like the colors and how this layout came out. I used some Glimmer Mist in Dazzling Diamonds on the title to add a little sparkle. The border punches are Martha Stewart and EK Success. I cut the snowflakes on my Cricut from the Joys of the Season cartridge. The paper is AC Cardstock, Bazzill, ATD's Jack Frost. The snowflake border is from Recollections. Enjoy!!

Relaxing!
I am trying to use up supplies I received in swaps. So quick and easy to throw a layout together with this border sets! I got this border set from a good swapping buddy of mine, NancyLuvsMickey. I just love the colors. I only added the photo mats and the background card stock. She did the rest!
