Hello and happy Sunday. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. The weather has been gorgeous. It is starting to feel like summer!
This week at
Crafting When We Can is no line stamping with digital stamps. Yes, you can achieve the same affect with digital stamps as with ink. There is a nice tutorial on how to print your digital image at the Crfting When We Can Challenge blog. Basically, you can change your color setting in your word processor program to washout which lightens the entire image, then print.
I have learned a few things creating this card. Instead of reprinting my image and fixing it, I left it so you too can learn from my mistakes! I learned that when there are faces involved, it is better to color with light colors otherwise you can't see the details in the face like the eyes, nose and mouth. If it was a person, then that would have been easy but I was using this cute bunny image, Carrot Patch Bunny from
Inky Impressions (thank you). I should have used a much lighter brown or even grey to color this bunny. Maybe even gone back over the face with a black multiliner pen.
