Here is another Basic Grey layout. Did I mention that I love Basic Grey paper? This is from the new Capella line. I inked the edges of the chipboard letters in Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen. The accents on the top corner were cut out from a sheet of Bravo! Enjoy!!

VSD #4 Challenge
I have several posts today so don't forget to scroll down!
The blog group I am in had some challenges this weekend. Here are two cards that I was able to make. The first one was posted by Terria and the challenge was supposed to be a summer card and you had to use your Cricut. I had this sun that I made for a previous swap. It always pays to make extra! I think the cartridge used was Life is a Beach. Also just for fun I am entering the card in the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge blog where you needed to use stripes some how on your creation and the Stampin' B's Summer Fun Theme.
The second card I made was posted by April. The challenge was to use acetate. I just happen to have a package that I bought but was afraid to use! I embossed the card with my Cuttlebug using the Happy Birthday embossing folder. I also wanted to use this for Melina's challenge and that was a color challenge with a twist. The twist was that the card had to be masculine. So I hope this works! I didn't have the SU! colors but I think I was close enough. I am also entering this in the Practical Scrappers challenge for using a border punch and All Sorts challenge for embossing.
I've got a color challenge for you with a theme twist...
Your colors are:
Chocolate Chip
More Mustard
Old Olive
Basic gray
Very Vanilla

It is difficult to see the embossing but if you click on the picture to make it bigger it is easier to see!
Critter Sketch Challenge #20
It is another challenge at Critter Sketch Challenge. This weeks challenge is a sketch challenge. The sketch was created by Kelly Haberstroh. This months sponsor is Soft Pencil. Don't forget to play along and win a gift certificate to the Soft Pencil store. I decided to make a 12x12 scrap book layout for this weeks challenge. Enjoy!

Anything Goes - Basic Grey
I made this card for the Going Grey with Scrap-Creation Challenge: Anything Goes. I love Basic Grey paper! As soon as I saw this challenge, I had to play. I used the Cappella line of Basic Grey and the sentiment is from SU!

Cricut Swap
I made this LO for my 12x12 Cricut swap on SCS (thanks Melanie for letting me host the last two rounds!). I really like the colors. The paper is from Die Cuts With a View's Flower Shower line. The font is from the Cricut Gypsy Font cartridge and the butterfly came from Ashlyn's Alphabet. I like to be able to scrap a lot of pictures on my LO's. Sometimes I will add the mats for pictures when I do a swap and sometimes I don't. I guess it just depends on the LO. I want people to be able to put the pictures in any direction and anywhere they want. Enjoy!

Critter Sketch Challenge #18
It's a new month and a new sketch at Critter Sketch Challenge. In addition to a sketch you need to incorporate some ribbon into your creation. Mine is a graduation card. This month's sponsor Soft Pencil where you will find some really cute digi stamps! Remember, you need to play every week and post your creation to your blog and to the CSCB in order to win!
