Merry & Bright

Hello and happy Thursday! I cannot believe there are only three more sleeps until Christmas. I managed to squeeze a little bit of time in to make a few Christmas cards. I am sending mostly to relatives this year. It seems like most people aren't sending Christmas cards like they used too.

Here is the card I made. I just kept it simple and made several of the same card and something easy to mail. In other words a nice simple A2 sized card without a lout of layers that didn't need any special handling or extra postage.

I cut out the little holly sprig on the Cricut Air and it's from the Joys of the Season cartridge.  I am not sure who makes the stamp. It is most likely one of the dollar stamps from the craft store.

Peek-A-Boo Gift Card Holder

Hello! I cannot believe Christmas is 8 days away. I am just about done with all the shopping and wrapping. Just a few little things left to do. Like usual, I have some gift cards to give out and wanted to make something cute to put it in. I cut a tree out on the cover and put another tree on the inside flap that shows through. That way there is still something cute to see when you open the first flap. The tree has a matching stamp that I embossed with some gold powder.

WOYWW #393

Hello! It's me, I am baaaack......

I have been missing for awhile. It has been a hectic year and I just haven't had the time to get into my craft room and do any crafting whatsoever. I am trying to change that and see if I can work at least one day a week to do some kind of paper crafting.

As you can see by the mess on my desk, I have done a little scrapbooking. The last few months I have done two pages for the scrap lift challenge on SCS. It helps to have something to motivate me!

That page on my desk is for virtual scrapbook night on SCS. I have some Christmas cards in the works as well. Since it is Christmas, I have some gift card holders to post soon also.

If you are not sure what WOYWW is then head on over to the Stamping Ground to see what all the fuss is and share your pictures of what is on your workdesk Wednesday and see what other crafters are working on.

WOYWW # 360

Hello! I have not been around lately. Just too much going on and not enough time to do it all. I hope everyone is having a nice spring. The month of April is just flying by. I am posting a picture of my craft table today as a part of What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday. I haven't posted to WOYWW in a long time. If you are not familiar with WOYWW, it is hosted by Stamping Ground and it is just a fun way to post to your blog what is currently on your desk and peck at other crafters desks.

My desk is a mess! I haven't been down there in almost a month. That scrapbook page was started over a month ago. It is almost done but I just can't seem to squeeze anytime in to go and finish it. I need to do something about my time management, LOL.

There is just a lot of "stuff" strewn around the tables that needs to be put away and pictures that need to be scrapped. The latest Easter picture is off to the right. On he left I have a package of tiny clothes pins. For some reason I have been obsessed with those things lately. I keep buying them when I see them on clearance but I have yet to use them!

Borders - Creative Knockouts #136

Hello and happy Thursday! It is time for another challenge at Creative Knockouts. The theme this week is borders and the sponsor for the challenge is Sassy Studio Designs. I was given Wonder Woman Sassy to work with, thank you!

I did something a little outside the box with the border challenge. I used a Martha Stewart border punch but I didn't use the border I cut out but instead I used the positive pieces that we normally throw away. I colored the image with Copic markers.

This week's challenge is to make a card for a child. I colored the image with copic markers and created the word panel on the Cricut.
