Dry Embossing - Creative Knockouts #100

Hello and happy Thursday! I hope everyone's summer is going well. It finally stopped raining and the weather has been hot, hot, hot. I can't believe that July is almost over.

It is time for another challenge at Creative Knockouts and the theme this week is dry embossing. So get out those embossing folders! The sponsor is Sassy Studio Designs and I was given Katniss Sassy on Fire to work with, thank you!


I embossed a sheet of Core'dinations Black Magic cardstock and then sanded the embossed area to show the blue underneath in stead of using DP.  I also embossed the white accent layer. The image was colored with Copic markers.

It's a Sketch - Crafting When We Can #99

Hello and happy Sunday! I hope everyone's July is going well. The weather has finally gotten HOT but we have also had a lot of thunderstorms to deal with.

There is a sketch challenge over at Crafting When We Can and the sponsor for this weeks challenge is Inky Impressions. I used Umbrella Lili for this challenge. We were given a sentiment, Dance in the Rain, to use on this weeks card and this image goes perfectly with this sentiment.

Outside Fun - Creative Knockouts #98

Hello and happy Thursday! It is time for another challenge at Creative Knockouts and the theme this week is outdoor fun. The Sponsor is ColorInk Digital and I was given Bonfire Night to work with, thank you. This is a set of digital images and I chose to use one of the fireworks images for my card. It is always so much fun to visit a fireworks display.

I colored the fireworks with my Copic Atyou Spica glitter pens and printed the image on Cryogen paper for some extra sparkle.

Banner/Pennant - Creative Knockouts #96

Hello and Happy July! It is time for another challenge at Creative Knockouts and the theme is banners & pennants. The sponsor for this week's challenge is All Dressed Up. The prize this week is two digi stamps from All Dressed Up. I was given Rock My World to work with, thank you!

I don't have any special dies for banners or pennants so I just cut mine out on the Cricut using the George & Basic Shapes cartridge. I  colored the image with Copic markers. I also used the Atyou Spica pens from Copic on the guitar but I can never get a good picture of them sparkling!
