Here is another layout that I made for the Let's Scrap challenge. They have a lot of really great sketches. I love sketches. They are such a great starting point. You can either copy it exactly or sometimes get inspiration from just one tiny part of it! A friend of mine made the little fishies. I am not sure if she used her Cricut or something else to cut these little guys out. I thought they fit perfectly with the sketch! I didn't do anything fancy, I just kept it simple. The pretty, sparkly (is that even a word? Yep it is, I googled it!) paper is by Best Creation. It is double-sided with the cute polka dot print on the back. I only bought two sheets a little over a year ago and and boy did I have a hard time cutting it! I know that's why we buy it but when I have so little of something that is pretty, I hate to use it all up!! Thanks for looking!
Nice layout! The fish are really cute! I understand about not wanting to cut the paper we purchase to cut!! That is why we all have so much of it! LOL Maybe we should just make a scrapbook of uncut beautiful paper! :) Thanks for always providing so much scrap happy inspiration to me!
ReplyDeleteCute page! I'm terrible for not wanting to cut pretty papers. But, as you say, that is why we buy them so it has to be done.
ReplyDeleteSuper layout and fun picture!
ReplyDeleteLove those summery colors!!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch cheerful colors:) I like how you have several pics in this layout. I just came across the coolest dies for scrapbooking today and I thought of you. Have you heard of Lifestyle Crafts?
ReplyDeleteWhen our papers are pretty we really treasure them and in turn I think create works we are proud of. Your layout is great and shows the fun that you all had. Happy Easter to you.
ReplyDeleteNice layout Nancy. I really like the glittery paper and I am with you "on it's hard to use up pretty paper" Fabulous job at putting it all together
ReplyDeleteGreat layouts. Love the pretty paper you used and love seeing your photos.
ReplyDeleteYour little school of fish is perfect for these wonderful photos. Delightful work, Nancy!!
ReplyDeleteLovely card! Those little fishies are so cute. I can really relate to the paper-hoarding of beautiful paper you don't have much of. I have some adorable striped cardstock in pink and brown with pink glitter I bought several years ago, I use very little and I keep every tiny scrap. ;)
ReplyDeleteThose fishes are so cute! I love the paper too! Great layout Nancy!!
