Hello and happy Wednesday. I seem to disappeared again. I had a sudden death in the family and it has left me out of sorts and not in a crafty mood to say the least. I am trying slowly to get back into the groove of things.
On SCS there is a fun monthly challenge that I try to participate in. Having committed to something forces you to do something. The challenge is the scraplift challenge and it is hosted by Sharon. Every month she comes up with a different theme. This month we are to scraplift a layout from the gallery of the person who signed up ahead of head us. I found a layout and I have gathered a few papers and the picture I want to scrap. Know I just need to figure out the rest like how to embellish and which elements I want to lift and how to put my own twist on it. Good thing I have all month to finish, LOL.
So that is what is on my desk this week. I also have a bunch of pictures I have found and set aside that I need to get cracking on as well. Summer is approaching and I have been spending a lot of time in the yard so it will be a challenge to try and scrap. If you are not sure what WOYWW is then head on over to The Stamping Ground and see what it's all about and share What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday.

Sorry to hear you had an unexpected death in your family - it's so difficult to know what to say (or write) at times like these. I just wish you and your family some peace and hope you all have wonderful memories to help you.

So sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you. Art and crafting have really helped me through that sort of thing in the past. Perhaps you'll be helped in the same way, too.
ReplyDeleteI like your work area. Nicely laid out.
