Card for a Child - Creative Knockouts #124

Hello and happy Thursday! I hope it is warmer were you are. Winter finally made an appearance and it has been cold. The kids don't like getting on the bus for school when it is in the single digits....brrrrr.

All Things New - Creative Knockouts #122

Hello and happy Thursday. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and that Santa was good to you! I can't believe that today is the last day of the year! So it is time to bring on the New Year with this weeks challenge at Creative Knockouts. The theme is all things new. I decided to use a new card fold. This is a Z-Fold card but it is a little different (and easier) then the other Z-fold card I have made before. The image was colored with Copic markers.

Buttons Galore - Crafting When We Can #109

Hello and happy Sunday! It is time for another challenge at Crafting When We Can. The theme this week is buttons. We want to see buttons on your cards and projects. The sponsor for this challenge is A Random Fan who is offering your choice of images from their store.

I am participating in a fun secret Santa and we are exchanging books. I love books and reading so I thought it would be fun to make a cute bookmark to go along with my gift. I used a Stamping Bella Uptown Girls image called Rebecca Loves to Read. Since it is a bookmark I didn't want to use a lot of thick layers so the book can still be closed easily. The image was colored with Copic markers on Cryogen white paper for some extra sparkle. I added a very lightweight magnet to help keep the bookmark in place.

This is the last challenge for 2015. Challenge #109 will be open until January 9th instead of the usual 2 weeks. So grab your buttons and lets see what you can create!

Color Combo Challenge - Crafting When We Can #107

Hello! Sorry I an very late with this weeks post. I have been having internet problems which coincidently got worse after I upgraded to Windows 10.  FYI...Blogger doesn't like the new Microsoft Edge browser. Do yourself a favor and search Cortana for Internet Explorer (which isn't on the start menu anymore).

Anyway on to this weeks challenge at Crafting When We Can which is a color combo challenge. The challenge is to use pink and lime green on your card. I  was given Tabbi Boo from Lacy Sunshine and they are offering a prize of three images from the store! I went a little crazy with the challenge and might have gone too far with the lime green, LOL.
