Birthday

I have been going back and taking 8.5x11 layouts that somehow never made it into albums and creatively putting the layout onto 12x12 card stock. No changes to the layout but adding some decorative borders and maybe some more embellies to fill out the page. Until I got to this layout. I cannot even describe how bad it was (the decorative scissors are a clue). I probably made this layout almost 10 yrs ago and there wasn't much available except gel pens, decorative scissors, flat stickers. Need I say more. I carefully peeled the photos and the their mats off and started fresh. Here is the new and improved layout (notice I didn't take a picture of the bad version). Enjoy and thanks for looking!

Another Easter

Happy Friday! Here is another Easter layout. I don't know if it's the winter gloom but I have been working on catching up on some old pictures and they all just happen to be Easter. I actually made this layout last April and put it away in an Iris case with a bunch of other layouts. I forgot all about it and I found it the other day. These pictures just happen to fit on it perfectly! The stamps are from Stampin Up! ande the bulk of the paper and the cs is from the Paper Source (except for the purple butterfly DP. I have no clue whose paper that is!).

Easter

Happy Wednesday! I am still working on catching up my scrapbooks. I don't know who made the papers on this LO. I received the paper in a secret sister swap last Spring. I made the flowers when I made the flowers (a lot of them actually) when I had a lot of spare time on my hands last April. I was at least able to put them to good use on this LO and some wide borders!

First Home

Here is another layout for my favorite swap on SCS. The theme was "New Beginnings." My secret sister sent me pictures of the first house her and her husband had bought. I left some room on the die cut for her to do her own journaling. I hope she likes it!

Santa

I found a new challenge glog (well, new for me anyway) - Creative Scrappers. I made this layout using their sketch #189. I have had this picture sitting in my kitchen for over a month and it was time to either move to the basement with all my other scrap stuff or scrap it. I decided to scrap it! All the paper and embellishments are atd's Jack Frost collection. The title is from EK Success. Thanks for looking!

Fourteen

Hello and Happy New Year! My blog girls had a challenge. To make a card or scrap page using the colors black, white and silver. Mine is just a few days late (oops) but here is my page:

Sorry for the quality but I was too lazy to get out the camera and just used my phone!! The sketch came from a little web site I just found, Let's Scrap. The DP is all fromn DCWV Glitter Stack. The sentiment is from SU! The other cards/pages from the girls are on my side bar. Thanks for looking!
